The State Auditor is authorized to make a continuous monthly audit of the State Treasurer's office, reconciling all accounts with the State Comptroller's records. This series consists of copies of routine correspondnence created by the office concerning questions or discrepancies that arose during its regular auditing process. Also included are information requests from news media, copies of replies or news releases, recommendation letters for employees, greeting cards, and various routine reports or supporting materials received.
